Our ability to pass knowledge down from generation to generation is one of the things that make us human. This is how we preserve skills, customs, and relationships. Some of this migration of knowledge happens informally through lessons taught by family and friends. Other forms occur in professional settings like schools and workplaces.
Many of us want to be remembered for the knowledge we pass on to others. At Tripple, we created a platform where the older generation could pass down their life advice to their children and professionals could get advice from more experienced people in their field. Thus began the Council of Elders.
What Is the Council of Elders?
The Council of Elders is Tripple’s mentoring platform that allows people from all ages and walks of life to come together and share knowledge. There are many different councils for everything from technology to travel to gaming.
You have the opportunity to exchange ideas and practices wherever and whenever you want. Everybody who uses the Council of Elders can be a mentor in fields they’re experts in, and students in fields where they want to learn more.
Tripple goes beyond traditional social media to facilitate mentorship and learning as part of the legacy we build.
How to Ask Your Questions on Tripple
The Council of Elders feature on Tripple is easy and user-friendly so that you can spend less time figuring out social media and more time answering your questions. Here are the four steps to getting started:
#1 Download Tripple
The Council of Elders isn’t offered anywhere else online!
#2. Go to the Council of Elders Tab
Hint: it’s the owl icon.
#3. Choose Your Councils
You can do this by looking through the categories under “Discover Councils” and choosing your specific area of interest in those.
#4. Ask Your Questions
Once you are on your council’s page, simply hit the plus button on the right side of the screen. There, it will take you to a page where you can submit your question. Once it’s in, simply wait for a notification that the council has spoken. All answers to your inquiries will be shown on the specific council’s main page along with your question.
How to Become a Mentor on the Council of Elders
If you are interested in helping other people become proficient in an area you have significant experience with, becoming a mentor on the Council of Elders is a great way to accomplish that goal! It is an easy process. All you have to do is follow the steps above, but switch out the last one to:
Answer Questions
As people submit questions in your councils, you can share your experiences and information with them. Other people who have similar questions will then be able to see your answer and you will be helping people all over the world!
